The game unlocks at the same instant worldwide, according to the outlets we checked, so there is no region-by-region rollout. Note that 08:00 UTC comes from widely repeated reports rather than the store pages; Steam’s page shows the date as Sep 29, 2026 and the game was live and being reviewed by players on launch day.

Steam also sells a Deluxe upgrade as DLC for people who bought the standard edition. Prices on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo stores may differ by region; we haven’t verified them.
Pre-order bonus: players who pre-ordered received the Twisted cape, the Twisted Chicken pet and two hero skins. That bonus is separate from the Deluxe contents.
Hero Cape: Mojang’s promotion gives a Hero Cape to players who play both Minecraft Dungeons and Dungeons II on the same Microsoft account; playing on Game Pass counts. Details are on the linked Steam announcement.

Should you buy the Deluxe Edition?
If you want the cosmetics and expect to play the two DLC packs, the extra $20 is the bundle price. DLC 1 and 2 have not been detailed in the sources we checked, so you are paying for content that is not out yet. Several Steam players asked where their Deluxe items were on launch day; the answer in that thread was to check the game’s DLC list in Steam properties.
