Artifacts are the active abilities in Minecraft Dungeons II (Minecraft Dungeons 2). Each one costs souls, which you earn by defeating mobs, then goes on cooldown. This list covers 35 artifacts by name: buffs like Warrior Drums and Warding Chimes, area attacks like Soul Harvester and the pouches, ammo swaps like the quivers, and supports like Totem of Shielding and Picnic Basket.

Soul cost and cooldown are only documented for a few artifacts (Winter Staff, Banner, Picnic Basket and Turtle Master’s Mandolin), so we leave the rest blank rather than guess. Everything here is marked reported until we test the release build.

FAQ

What are artifacts in Minecraft Dungeons II?

Equippable items with an active ability. Using one spends souls and then puts it on cooldown.

How many artifacts can I equip?

Pre-launch data says two below level 10 and three from level 10. One early review describes three artifact slots.

How do I get souls?

By defeating mobs. Every hero who damages a mob gains a soul, according to pre-launch data.

Are all artifacts confirmed?

Not all. Banner, Grindstone and Pouch of Fire are marked reported because pre-launch listings flag them as unconfirmed.
